In February the Civil Court Independent Judicial Screening Panel was formed, and soon following a number of candidates for Civil Court Judgeship will be chosen. In November, please cast your vote for the candidates we list on our website and support via petition signature gathering.

The Executive Committee of the Manhattan Democratic Party will meet in July to select nominees for any newly-created New York County Civil Court vacancies. Upon a series of votes, the Executive Committee will select the Democratic nominees for the November 5, 2026 General Election. In August Democratic Judicial Delegates of the 1st Judicial District will convene for the Manhattan Democratic Party’s 2026 Supreme Court Judicial Convention.
